Veniamin Egorov,

tenor, graduated from the College of Music under the Moscow Conservatory in 1992 and from the Gnessins Academy of Music in 1998. He participated in master classes given by Galina Vishnevskaya, Vladimir Atlantov, and Mstislav Rostropovich. He performed with the State Choir of Russia directed by Valery Polyansky, the Yurlov Russian State Academic Choir, and Boris Pevzner’s Moscow Choral Theatre. Since 1998, Veniamin has worked in the Prokofiev Studio Theatre. In 2000 he joined the Natalia Satz Children’s Theatre, where he performed as Lensky in Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin, Young Gypsy in Rachmaninov’s Aleko, Florizel in Alexander Tchaikovsky’s Royal Love, or the Winter’s Tale, and Musician in Khrennikov’s All Those Miracles.

The singer tours in Russia and abroad with the Russian Opera Theatre, the Moscow Operetta Theatre, the Volgograd Private Opera and the Don Cossacks Ensemble. He collaborates with the World Talents Foundation. The singer has participated in All-Russia and international festivals including the Mussorgsky Opera Festival in Tver, the Rachmaninov International Festival of Music, the Panorama of Russian Music Theatres in Omsk, and the Cyprus International Festival.

He has worked with many outstanding contemporary conductors such as Boris Khaikin, Mark Ermler, Algis Žiūraitis, Gennady Rozhdestvensky, Vladimir Spivakov, Valery Polyansky, Mikhail Shcherbakov, Nader Abbassi, Mikhail Arkadiev, George Cleve, Borja Quintas.

 

Since 2001, Veniamin Egorov has been a soloist of the Novaya Opera Theatre of Moscow.
