| | | | | Artyom Garnov, baritone, graduated from the singing department of the Popov Academy of Choral Art (Professor Vdovin’s class) in 2011. In 2007–2008, he attended the Moscow International Vocal School, where he studied with George Darden (Metropolitan Opera, New York City), Diane Zola and Richard Bado (Houston Grand Opera), Gloria Borelli and Giandomenico Bisi (Conservatoire of Naples). At the gala-concert of the School he and Albina Shagimuratova sang the Figlia!… Mio padre! duet from Verdi’s Rigoletto.He acted as Don Alvaro in the production of Rossini’s Il viaggio a Reims staged by students of the opera studio under the Gnesins Russian Academy of Music. The singer joined the Novaya Opera Theatre in 2009. In 2010, he participated in the tour of the Symphonic Mania show in France. He sang Alidoro in Rossini’s La Cenerentola at the Epiphany Week at Novaya Opera festival in 2011. In 2018 the singer participated in the Mozart.Arias concert at the Veronika Dzhioeva Festival Opera Space.
