| Alexander Bogdanov, tenor. Alexander Bogdanov graduated from the Krasnoyarsk State College of Arts in 1996. In 1993, he began his career as a singer at the Krasnoyarsk Ballet and Opera Theatre where he performed the tenor parts in Khovanshchina by Mussorgsky, Eugene Onegin by Tchaikovsky, Il barbiere di Seviglia by Rossini, The Bartered Bride by Smetana, La Traviata and Un ballo in maschera by Verdi.Since 1997 the singer has worked at the Novaya Opera Theatre of Moscow. Alexander Bogdanov sang the part of Paolo in Rachmaninov’s Francesca da Rimini and the part of Prince Bellidor in Grechaninov’s Sister Beatrice with Valery Polyansky’s orchestra in the Grand Hall of the Moscow Conservatory. Alexander participates in the Tenors of the 21st Century art project. He often performs in the best music venues in Moscow such as the State Kremlin Palace, the Rossiya Concert Hall, the International House of Music, the Olimpiysky and Luzhniki sports complexes, the Column Hall of the House of Unions and the Philharmonic Society. He tours extensively in Russia and abroad. He has worked with prominent conductors Stadler, Gorelik, Capasso, Nekrasov, Bardin, Tausk, Fedotov, Chepurnoi, Brazhnik, Dmitryak and Bashmet. The singer took part in 4 CD recordings. Awards and Honours- Prize-winner of Slovtsov international singing competition (1st prize)
