| Margarita Nekrasova, mezzo-soprano. Margarita Nekrasova graduated from the Moscow State Conservatory (Associate Prof. Shumilova's class) in 1992. The singer has a voice of exceptional compass, and her repertoire includes compositions by Pergolesi, Handel, Gluck, Bach, Verdi, Donizetti, Tchaikovsky, Rimsky-Korsakov, Mussorgsky, and Prokofiev.Since 1994, she has been a soloist of the Novaya Opera Theatre of Moscow. The singer has also taken part in various concerts of the theatre. She has been invited to perform at prestigious opera houses and concert halls in Russia and abroad (Teatro Comunale in Florence, La Scala in Milan, various theatres in Germany, Austria, Israel, Japan, and the Czech Republic). She has participated in musical festivals in Russia and in Europe. The singer took part in two CD recordings with the theatre – “The Novaya Opera in Carnegie Hall” and “Romances by Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninov”.
