Galina Badikovskaya, soprano, graduated from the Moscow State Conservatory in 1998. In 1997, Galina made her debut at the Novaya Opera Theatre of Moscow as Wally in the opera by Catalani. In 2003 she performed the soprano part in Mozart’s Requiem in the Malmö Opera and Music Festival. She appeared as Tatyana in Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin at the Opéra national du Rhin, Opera de Toulon in France and the Hamburg State Opera in Germany. She appears in opera houses in Russia and in concert venues in Moscow such as Grand Hall of the Moscow Conservatory, the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall, the Moscow International Performing Arts Centre, and the House of Composers. She worked with Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra (artistic director and chief conductor Yuri Simonov) and Nekrasov Orchestra of Russian Folk Instruments of the Russian State TV and Radio Broadcasting Company. Galina Badikovskaya took part in the joint CD recording of the Novaya Opera Theatre of Moscow and the choir of Savonlinna Opera Festival (Finland), where Galina performed the part of Santuzza in Cavalleria rusticana. She also participated in the production of Eugene Onegin in France and Germany. Awards and Honours- Prize-winner of the Second All-Russia Competition for Young Singers.
