The title of the festival’s third soiree is taken from the lines of Alexander Zatsepin’s famous song to Leonid Derbenyov’s lyrics from the film
The Land of Sannikov: Oleg Dal’s character sings with Oleg Anofriyev’s voice but there is also Dal’s version of this song that is not presented in the film. The concert programme comprises music by Mikael Tariverdiev, Gennady Gladkov, Evgeny Krylatov, Alexander Zhurbin and many other composers. Most of the songs on the programme are from films and cartoons of the 1960–1980s.
The genres and kinds of the songs are very diverse: children’s, romantic, love, character, comic songs etc. Many songs are associated in our minds with the actors who performed them in the cinema (Anatoly Lepin’s A Song About Good Mood to Vladimir Livshits’s lyrics calls up Lyudmila Gurchenko’s character); so it will be even more interesting to listen to another version of the song. Alexandra Pakhmutova’s song Tenderness to Sergey Greybennikov and Nikolai Dobronravov’s lyrics came from the radio to the film Three Poplars in Plyushchikha and became a kind of character in Tatiana Lioznova’s film.
At the soiree you will hear the Novaya Opera’s soloists and guest artists accompanied by an instrumental band.
The artistic director of the festival is the Novaya Opera’s director Dmitry Sibirtsev, a pianist and a winner of the Moscow City Literature and Arts Prize.
