Vasily Valitov, Conductor, graduated from the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory. He underwent an advanced study course with the famous conductors Fuat Mansurov and James Judd (USA).In 2008–2010, he acted as chief conductor of the Astrakhan State Opera Theatre. Since 2001, he has been artistic director and chief conductor of the Youth Symphony Orchestra of Russia. Since 2004, he has been artistic director of the cultural and social project “Music of Children’s Hearts”. As part of the project over 300 concerts have been held at numerous venues, including the Grand Hall of the Conservatory, the Moscow Philharmonic Society, the Moscow International House of Music, the St. George Hall of the Moscow Kremlin, and the Council Hall of the Christ the Saviour Cathedral. Vasily Valitov made a successful international debut in Qatar in 2004 and in France in 2006, 2008 and 2012, where the orchestra he conducted won the Grand Prize for the mastery of performance. He has recorded two CDs together with the Youth Symphony Orchestra of Russia. He has collaborated with a number of orchestras including the Ryazan State Philharmonic (2006), the Tatarstan State Symphony Orchestra (2007), the Kalmykia Symphony Orchestra (2009), the Moscow Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra (2010), the Nekrasov Orchestra of Russian Folk Instruments, the Symphony Orchestra of the Podlasie Opera and Philharmonic in Poland (2007), the Bordeaux Symphony Orchestra in France, and the Madrid Symphony Orchestra in Spain (2012). In 2008, he performed in a number of concerts with the Symphony Orchestra of Russia and became its guest conductor. He joined the Novaya Opera Theatre in 2010. Conducted the Epiphany Festival 2014 gala concert, solo recital of Boris Statsenko 5:5 for baritone (september 2014), Gluk's opera Iphigénie en Tauride in concert (Nikolayev Youth Symphony Orchestra of Russia, soloists and orchestra of the Novaya Opera Theatre). Since 2013 – guest conductor of the Moscow State Symphony Orchestra.Since 2014 – guest conductor of the Tatar State Academic Opera and Ballet Teatre named after Musa Jalil and of the Mahler Philarmoniker (Wien, Austria). Since 2014, VasilyValitov has been a permanent guest conductor of the Seto Philharmonic Orchestra (Kagawa, Japan). In 2016, he became Artistic Director and Chief Conductor of the CIS Youth Symphony Orchestra, which in different years was led by Mansurov, Simonov, Gorenstein, and Spivakov. The CIS Youth Symphony Orchestra under the baton of VasilyValitov has released 2 CDs and has given a number of concerts in Moscow and CIS countries. Since 2016, he has been the principal director of The Voice of Music, a music company operating in the performing artsfield. Since the same year he has been the artistic director of the international Austrian-Russian project Vienna-Moscow Music Academy, the institutor and artistic director of the Russian-Austrian summer music school in Bregenz (Austria). In 2017 he made his debut at the Mariinsky Theatre in the production of Verd's Rigoletto. In 2018 Vasily became the principle guest conductor at the Philharmonic Orchestra in Hamamatsu, Japan.
