Sergey Artamonov, bass. Sergey Artamonov graduated from the Rachmaninov College of Music in Kaliningrad (2001) and shortly after entered the Tchaikovsky Moscow Conservatory. In the Conservatory Opera Theatre, Sergey Artamonov sang King Rene in Iolanta and Gremin in Eugene Onegin by Tchaikovsky. Since 2003 to 2015 the worked at the Novaya Opera Theatre of Moscow. In 2018, he joined the Novaya Opera again. In 2013, Sergey Artamonov debuted in Italy in Teatro La Fenice in Venice (Colline in Puccini's La bohème). He also performed in various theatres of the world: La Scala in Milan (Raimondo in Donizetti's Lucia di Lammermoor), Teatro Comunale di Bologna (Zaccaria in Verdi's Nabucco, Oroveso in Bellini's Norma), Arena di Verona (Ramfis in Verdi's Aida, Ferrando in Verdi's Il trovatore), Opéra Bastille in Paris (Angelotti in Puccini's Tosca), the Théâtre du Capitole de Toulouse (Sparafucile in Verdi's Rigoletto), Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia in Valencia (Zaccaria in Verdi's Nabucco, Oroveso in Bellini's Norma), the Grand Theatre in Warsaw (Zaccaria in Verdi's Nabucco), the National Centre for the Performing Arts in Benjing (Zaccaria in Verdi's Nabucco, Fiesco in Verdi's Simon Boccanegra) to name a few. Sergey Artamonov performed Escamillo in Bizet's Carmen at the Bolshoi Theatre. He has also performed in concerts. He took part in various opera festivals such as the festival in Saint-Denis, the Epiphany Festival at the Novaya Opera and the Festival Internacional de Ópera Alejandro Granda in Lima (Peru).
