Ksenia Volkova,

soprano. Graduated from the Blagoveshchensk Music College with degrees in piano (Sevostianova’s class) and in singing (Volkova’s class). While studying, the singer worked for the Amursk Regional Philharmonic Society.

In 2005, the singer graduated from the Gensins Academy of Music (Professor Troitskaya’s class). In 2007, she completed her post-graduate studies with the Honoured Artist of Russia Ruzana Lisitsian. Ksenia Volkova joined the Novaya Opera in 2008.

  • Prize-winner of the International Singing Competition in Vladivostok (1999, 1st Prize)
  • Prize-winner of the Obraztsova International Competition for Young Singers in St. Petersburg (2007, 3rd Prize)
  • Prize-winner of the All-Russia Competition for Romance Performers in Vladimir (2007, 2nd Prize).
