| | | | | Dmitry Bobrov, tenor. Dmitry Bobrov graduated from the Moscow State Conservatory with a degree in solo singing (Professor Statnik, Kibkalo and Martynov’s class) in 2006. In 2002, he made his debut as Count Almaviva in Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro at the Moscow Conservatory’s Grand Hall. In 2005–2010 he was a soloist of the Tchaikovsky Opera and Ballet Theatre of Perm. The singer took a study course in the USA with Maestro Michael Paul. In 2005, he performed the title role in Janáček’s The Cunning Little Vixen at the OPUS festival in France. He also worked with Valery Polyansky’s State Symphony Choir.Between 2010 and 2014 he worked with the Samara Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre, where he performed Gabriel von Eisenstein in Strauss’ Die Fledermaus and Edwin in Kalman’s The Gypsy Princess. Between 2012 and 2014 Dmitry worked at the “On Basmannaya Str.” Musical Theatre of Moscow. There he performed Tsar Berendey in Rimsky-Korsakov’s The Snow Maiden, Peppe in the Pirate’s Triangle to Donizetti’s music, Mr. X in Kalman’s The Circus Princess, Raoul Delacroix in Kalman’s The Violet of Montmartre, the title role in Weber’s Abu Hassan. He was a soloist of the Novaya Opera Theatre in the 2011–2012 season, and in 2014 the singer joined the Novaya Opera again. Awards and Honours- Prize-winner of the Magic Curtain competition (2009)
