The 2012 Epiphany Week at Novaya Opera Festival.

The Evgeny Kolobov Foundation, established in memory of the outstanding Russian conductor, and the Kolobov Novaya Opera Theatre of Moscow present an international musical festival called “Epiphany Week at Novaya Opera”.
This event is taking place during the Great Orthodox Festival of Bogoyavlenie, and this is no mere coincidence. For the Maestro was born on January 19, Kreshchenie (the Epiphany), and it seems that the Holy Spirit marked his selfless devotion to Music.
The “Epiphany Week at Novaya Opera” presents the best productions in Maestro Kolobov’s original versions, premieres and concert programmes featuring outstanding musicians of our time.
Each festival is a bright event in the cultural life of Moscow; it is a celebration of Music for those who know and remember Evgeny Kolobov and who love Music to which he devoted his brilliant life.
