Ekaterina Petrova,

soprano. She graduated from the Samara Academy of Culture and Arts (from Prof. Ilves’s class, 2013). Since 2013 she has been soloist of the Galina Vishnevskaya Opera Centre, where she has performed Tatiana in Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin, Iolanta in Tchaikosky’s homonymous opera and Mercédès in Bizet’s Carmen.
 

Since 2017 she has been soloist of the Novaya Opera Theatre.
Her repertoire includes the parts of Natasha in Prokofiev’s War and Piece, Marguerite in Gounod's Faust and Micaëla in Bizet’s Carmen

  • Prize Winner of the 2nd Sergey Leyferkus Children Singing Competition We are singing the opera (Saint-Petersburg, 2008)
  • Prize Winner of the 23rd Kabalevsky International Competition for young musicians Pianovoce (1st prize, Samara, 2012)
  • Prize Winner of the Competition for Voice and Piano duets Pianovoce (Moscow, 2016)
