Saturday 15:30 A Guide to the Orchestra and Its Backyard Concert and Vladimir Zisman's book launch Performers Anna Iyudina (violin), Alexandra Chaplygina (violin), Alexander Sokolov (cello), Alexander Malyugov (double bass, bass guitar), Polina Baranova (harp), Vladimir Zisman (synthesizer, bugle, accordion) A Guide to the Orchestra and Its Backyard has won First Prize at the “Manuscript of the Year” literary award in 2014. The programme includes:
– meeting with Vladimir Zisman, a member of the Novaya Opera orchestra. He will speak about himself and his book;
– book signing session;
– concer of the Novaya Opera orchestra members. The concert programme is comprised of compositions by Isaac Albeniz, Benjamin Britten, Giuseppe Verdi, Edvard Grieg, Ludwig Minkus, Giacomo Puccini, Pyotr Tchaikovsky, Frédéric Chopin, Alfred Schnittke, Dmitry Shostakovich. FREE ENTRANCE |
