Internationale Weisbaden – Landeshauptstadt Wiesbaden  (27.05.2015).

On May 27 and 28, the Novaya Opera will take part in the International May Festival in Wiesbaden, the third oldest theatre festival in Germany after the Munich and Bayreuth festivals.
The Novaya Opera’s soloists and orchestra, conducted by Maestro Jan Latham-Koenig, will perform a number of concert programs.
The first concert will feature music by Tchaikovsky and Borodin. Excerpts of the operas Evgeny Onegin and Prince Igor will be performed by the Novaya Opera soloists Elizaveta Soina (Tatiana), Alexey Tatarintsev (Lensky), Sergey Artamonov (Prince Igor), Vitaly Efanov (Khan Konchak), Agunda Gulaeva (Konchakovna), and Maria Efanova (Polovtsian maiden).
On the second night the Novaya Opera will perform a suite from the ballet “Romeo and Juliet” by Prokofiev and the second act of Wagner’s opera “Tristan und Isolde”. For conducting this opera Jan Latham-Koenig was awarded the Golden Mask Russian Theatre Prize in 2014. Taking part in the performance of Tristan und Isolde will be soloists of the Wiesbaden State Theatre.
