The piece was first performed in Munster, Germany; the conductor was Henrik Chizh,” says Maestro Penderecki. “I compose a lot of sacred music; now it is returning. In the 1960s it was seldom performed, even in Poland, not to speak of Russia. Today I can perform it in Russia and I really love it!” A press conference and a meeting with Krzysztof Penderecki will take place at 4.30 p.m. on June 9 in the Novaya Opera’s Mirror Foyer. Media representatives can apply for accreditation at 8 (495) 694–19–15, e-mail: pr.novaya.opera@gmail.com
