Today the Novaya Opera’s Mirror Foyer hosted a casting for the new production. Composer Vladimir Martynov and conductor Dmitri Jurowski assessed the vocal skills of the singers, while director Yuri Lyubimov sized up their acting abilities and types. Also present were set designer Boris Messerer and Novaya Opera’s director Dmitry Sibirtsev. |
