| Tatiana Shatkovskaya-Eisenberg, Composer Tatiana Shatkovskaya-Eisenberg is a composer, pianist, teacher and concert manager. She graduated with distinction from the Ippolitov-Ivanov School of Music with degrees in piano playing (under Prof. Pavlova, 2005) and in theory and composition (under Mikhail Bronner, 2005). She graduated with distinction from the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory with a degree in composition (under Prof. Alexander Koblyakov) and competed her postgraduate studies there in 2013 (under Prof. Alexander Koblyakov and Prof. Vsevolod Zaderatsky). Since 2011 she has been a member of the Composers ’Union of Moscow and of Russia. Since 2012, she has been a member of the Management Board of the Moscow Composers’ Union and a teacher at the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory.The compositions by Tatiana Shatkovskaya-Eisenberg include Requiem for chorus, soloists and orchestra, the symphonic poem The Road of Tears, the choral opera The Red, the opera-musical The Tales by Chukovsky, chamber and vocal peices, as well as music for animated films, the play Anna and Admiral (Irkutsk Musical Theater, stage director Anna Feketa). In 2014, the International Film Festival Berlinale-2014 (Germany) awarded its Special Prize to the short animated film My Own Personal Moose, the music to which was composed by Tatiana Shatkovskaya-Einsenberg. Her compositions were performed at numerous festivals such as Music Marine Fest (Odessa), Music of Youth (Kiev, Ukraine), The Bridge of Friendship: Ukraine-Russia (Moscow), New Music – New Reality (Yekaterinburg, Russia,), Young Composers of Ukraine (Lviv, Ukraine), Music Without Frontiers: Ukraine-Russia (Kharkiv, Ukraine), the Moscow Conservatory’s 6th Choral Festival Youth Believes in Magic (2010), the China International Animation and Digital Arts Festival (China, Guangzhou, 2011) and animation festivals in Denmark, Slovenia, the USA and France (2013). Her compositions have been performed by the Berklee Contemporary Symphony Orchestra, theSveshnikov State Academic Russian Choir, the Chamber Choir of Moscow Conservatory, the Chamber Choir of Novaya Opera, the Symphony Orchestra of the RF Defence Ministry, Studio for New Music, Nostri temporis, the Dubna Symphony Orchestra, the Flute Ensemble directed by Catherine Cantine, professor at the Paul Duke Paris Conservatory. Tatiana actively works with the soloists of the Moscow Philharmonic Society Maria Vlasova (accordion) and Victor Sych (percussion). Tatiana Shatkovskaya-Eisenberg was the author and organizer of the festivals The Bridge of Friendship: Ukraine-Russia (Moscow, 2009), the inter-university festival New Music – New Reality (Yekaterinburg – Moscow, 2009), the creative union of young directors of the ShAR theatre school and young composers – members of the Moscow Composers’ Union (2012), Sacred Music of Young Composers (Moscow, 2015). As a teacher Tatiana is carrying on Gennady Shatkovsky’s unique programme for educating ear for music and developing creative abilities. She devotes much of her time to music improvisation and ear training with children and adults. She holds seminars, workshops and presentations on the ear trainingsystem, music improvisation and composition (in Moscow and abroad). She is a jury member of composers’ competitions.
