| Sergey Shirokov, Guest Stage Director. Sergei Shirokov graduated in 2006 from the Gnessins Russian Academy of Music, where he studied with Professor Dina Kirnarskaya. Between 2010 and 2014, he was an instructor in the Academy’s Production Department. Sergei Shirokov has for 15 years been a producer of popular entertainment programmes at the Rossiya TV channel, such as the Blue Light New Year’s Show on Shabolovka, the Blue Bird All-Russia Competition of Young Talents, the TEFI awarding ceremony, the Stanislavsky Russian International Prize awarding ceremony. He has directed concerts and shows by Dmitri Hvorostovsky, Alexandra Pakhmutova, Anna Netrebko, Renee Fleming, Montserrat Caballe, Lyubov Kazarnovskaya, Iosif Kobzon, Mikhail Zhvanetsky, Dima Bilan, Alla Pugacheva, Igor Nikolayev, Evgeny Pluschenko, Lara Fabian, Emma Shapplin, the Tchaikovsky Grand Symphony Orchestra under the guidance of Vladimir Fedoseyev, to name a few. He created and directed most of the performances by Russian singers at the Eurovision Song Contest. Sergei Shirokov’s projects have been presented at Russia’s central venues, including the State Kremlin Palace, the Russian Army Central Academic Theatre, the Crocus City Hall, the Nikulin Moscow Circus on Tsvetnoi Bulvar, the Rossiya State Central Concert Hall, the Mosfilm Cinema Concern, the Olimpiysky Sports Complex, and many others.
