| | | | | Rustam Khamdamov, Guest Designer Rustam Khamdamov is a director, a scriptwriter and an artist. He graduated from the Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography, Grigory Chukhrai’s workshop (1969). He was the director of the Vocal Parallels concert film (2006), the Diamonds. Theft/short film(2010, presented at the Venice Film Festival). He was a guest costume designer in Konchalovsky’s /The Nutcracker and Rat King (2010). He won the Triumph prize of 1997. He was the production designer of Nakhlebnik (the Mayakovsky Theatre, director Igor Popovsky), Wit Works Woe (set and costume designer, the Taganka Theatre, director Yuri Lyubimov).In 2003, he was awarded with the Cultural Asset Grand Prix. He became the first Russian artist whose works were taken to the contemporary art collection of the Hermitage. He is an Honorary Member of the Russian Academy of Arts. His works are housed in the Tretyakov Gallery, the Zimmerli Art Museum at Rutgers University (USA), the National Gallery in Ravenna (Italy), and in many private collections all over the world.
