Nestan Meboniya, soprano. In 2012 she graduated from the Russian University of Theatre Arts (GITIS). At the GITIS Theatre she performed Drusilla in Monteverdi’s L'incoronazione di Poppea. In 2013–2015 she was a student at the Galina Vishnevskaya Opera Centre.She participated in Mozart’s The Magic Flute (2012) and Gluck’s L'Ivrogne corrigé (2013) in the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Moscow Music Theatre. In 2013, she attended a workshop at the Bavarian State Opera. In 2014, she performed the role of the Opera Singer in the production of Anna Karenina in the Vakhtangov State Academic theatre. She toured in Athens (Greece). In the same year she performed Nedda in Leoncavallo’s Pagliacci in the Galina Vishnevskaya Opera Centre and at the Akhundov Azerbaijan State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre (as a part of the 7th Rostropovich International Festival in Baku). In 2015, the singer was a trainee at the La Scala Academy (Milan, Italy) by Renato Bruson, Luciana D'Intino and Vincenzo Scalera. Since 2016, she has been a soloist of the Galina Vishnevskaya Opera Centre, where she debuted as Tatyana in Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin. In February 2017 she performed the soprano part in Rossini’s Stabat Mater at the Al Bustan Festival (Beirut, Lebanon). The singer’s repertoire includes Zemfira in Rachmaninoff’s Aleko, Pamina in Mozart’s The Magic Flute, Micaëla in Bizet’s Carmen, Mimi in Puccini’s La boheme, soprano part in Rossini’s Requiem.
