Natalia Kazakova,

an accompanist, graduated from the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatoire, the Piano Department, in 2008 and completed her post-graduate studies in 2012.

In 2010–2013, she worked as an accompanist at the Opera Studies Department of the Moscow Conservatoire. In 2011–2013, she was a pianist at the Pokrovsky Chamber Music Theatre.

Since 2012, she has been a vocal accompanist at the Novaya Opera Theatre. Here she works on the opera repertoire, prepares and performs concert programmes with Novaya Opera soloists. Natalia Kazakova is an accompanist for the following productions: Ravel’s L’enfant et Les sortileges, Strauss’ Salome, Britten’s The Turn of the Screw, Martynov’s The School for Wives, DIDO, The Nutcracker. An Opera. She also performs the piano part in productions for children in the Mirror Foyer, Old Granny's Tales/and the dramatized performance /Le Carnaval des Animaux. Natalia Kazakova also takes part in a number of the Novaya Opera’s concert programmes: Symphonic Jazz Kings and the Operamania musical divertissement; and in Novaya Opera soloists’ concerts: a concert dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the Moscow Conservatory, Arias and scenes from operettas, The Operetta’s Carrousel, Once There Was a War, Verdissimo!, Salute, Spain! (Fabio Mastrangelo’s jubilee concert). She also took part in the King David Psalms vocal and scenic composition (2013) and in Vladimir Rubin’s recital during the Opera Garden Contemporary Music Festival (2014). Participates in theatre concerts at State Darwin Museum and MIPAC.

Natalya Kazakova received honourable mention from the All-Russia Guild of Pianists and Accompanists at the Nadezhda Yureneva Youth Festival of Chamber Vocal Music.

  • Gran-Prix at the 4th Moscow Open Competition for Young Composers (1999)
  • 3rd Prize at the All-Russia Literary Competition (2005)
  • Diploma of the 1st Shostakovich International Competition for Chamber Ensembles and Piano Duets (2008)
  • 3rd Prize at the 14th Euterpe International Competition in the chamber ensemble nomination (Italy, 2012)
