Lennart Mörk (1932–2007),

Guest Designer, was a theatre designer. He began his career in 1957 in the Royal Drama Theatre in Sweden. He collaborated with the theatre for almost half a century, creating set designs for 64 productions.

Lennart Mörk designed sets for quite a number of Shakespeare’s works: Hamlet, Measure for Measure, Merchant of Venice, Troilus and Cressida, and many others. Settings designed by Lennart Mörk can be seen in the best opera houses of the world. In 1998, Lennart Mörk presented a major exhibition called “Retrospective: 40 years in pictures and drama”, organized by the National Museum of Sweden in Stockholm to celebrate the anniversary of his artistic career.
