| | | | | Hannes Sesemann, Lighting Designer, grew up in the German-speaking part of Switzerland. After graduating from the Rudolf Steiner School in Bern, he studied at the Farbmühle artistic college in Lucerne. In 1999 he started working in Switzerland and in 2005 he moved to Berlin. The designer participated in a number of unusual productions including Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte in a rebuild metro hall in Berlin in 2008, the cross-genre production of Marquis de Sade in a power station in Vockerode in 2009, and a dramatized performance of Mozart’s Cosi fan tutte in Berlin’s former power station in 2009/2010. He participated as a lighting designer in some major events in Berlin and movie productions. Since October 2009, Hannes Sesemann has worked with Aleksey Veiro on a regular basis. Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro will be his debut at the Novaya Opera.
